          Job Details:
          Qualifications: High school diploma. Two years' acute care coding experience in a hospital setting required. Must be proficient coding inpatient ambulatory surgery as well as emergency room visits. Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT-4 classification systems and a solid understanding of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. CCS/CPC/RHIT required. Job Summary: Translating descriptions of medical diagnoses and procedures into codes (ICD-9M, CPT, E&M, DRGs, APCs) that record health care data for the purposes of billing, reimbursement and reporting.
